Happy Memorial Day!

This weekend, Sterling and I hosted a Memorial Day BBQ/Pool party at his beautiful home. A bunch of people from our kickball team as well as other random wonderful friends. There were probably about 20 people at the place, plus 3 adorable dogs.

 This is Heidi. She likes chicken and beer. 

 Griffey likes making new friends. 

Half way through the day, I decided I needed a little nap so I went and cuddled up on the chair. 30 seconds later, I wasn't the only one with that good idea. Once Griffey got over the fact that he was sharing his mom, Buddy, Griffey and I had a nice nap. 

All in all, it was a beautiful day with good food, good drinks, and good friends. Happy Memorial Day!

Beach Weekend!

This past weekend, I went to Englewood, FL and stayed at a friends beach house. It was wonderful. After work on Friday, 11 of us piled into cars and drive the 2 and half hours south to the Fuller's Fishin Shack. 

We got in late on Friday and wasted no time! We had a crazy night of finding big spiders, playing drinking games like frat boys, getting chased by crabs on the beach in the dark and a lot of laughing. 


On Saturday, we spent HOURS bobbing in the Gulf of Mexico, drinks in hand. It was a wonderful way to spend the day if I do say so myself. Give me a floaty noodle and a vodka cran, splash of pineapple and I'm one happy camper.  After some naps, we went out to watch the sunset. It was absolutely stunning. We were quite fascinated at how fast the sun went down.

My Sweet Boys

I am such a blessed girl. I by far have the sweetest and best boyfriend and puppy in the world. They make me so happy and make my heart warm on a daily basis. 

Griffey almost 1 and a half years old, weighs 6.8 pounds and is a purebred Maltese.  He has been through Puppy school, intermediate school and tricks class. He can do a number of tricks. My favorite being when I sneeze, he runs and gets me a tissue. It's true. He also loves playing peek a boo and rolling over. His favorite thing is cuddling with his mommy and daddy. He is the happiest boy ever. 

This is when I picked him out from the breeder. He weighed one pound and kissed me on the lips like he knew I was the mama for him. 

Griffey loves going to lunch. But he refuses to drink water from the bowl they provide him... so we share :)

Sterling

Sterling is 25 years old, weighs 200 n somethin pounds and is purebred wonderful. He will be getting his finance degree in August from UCF! yay! He can do a number of tricks too. He makes me laugh frequently. We met through our friend Eddie. 

In the past 6 months of dating, we have been luck to do many fun things together.

Reasons I love my job...

For those of you who are reading my blog, but don't know what I do, I am an Activities Director at a timeshare resort in the Orlando area. I'm basically a cruise director on land.

This is 1 of my 6 pools.

There are many times in a week that I just giggle to myself about working with the public and tourists. It's a good thing I'm easily amused and appreciate the little things in life.


This Easter weekend, I put a jar full of plastic eggs at the front desk and had people guess how many eggs are in the jar. There were 88. I called the lady to tell her she had won and you would have thought I just told her she won the lottery. She was hootin and hollerin. She won a $25 gift certificate. I'm glad I made her so happy. That is my job right??
